At one level, Pascale Canning’s work ‘Stranded’ evokes the paraphernalia of bath-time play through this familiar domestic object. Initial impressions however, are soon scuppered by the implicit realism of the tiny merchant ship, positioned at some distance from a receding, resinous sea.
