In her work Rinat Kotler is engaged with narrative in art, using stories in order to stimulate people to tell their own thoughts and feelings. ‘Dark’ features a man recounting a near death experience. The work uses fiction to reach a moment of reality; perhaps the way to truly reach our innermost fears and truths is through fabricated fantasies.
