CloseWithin the confines of the studio, photographic apparatus acts as a protective screen behind which previously concealed truths may be told. Taking the form of the private confessional box, a metaphorical traversal through uncomfortable psychological landscapes is both encouraged and enabled by Louise Fago Ruskin. Surreal and dreamlike in atmosphere, elements of the unconscious and of memory are elicited and a redressing and rebalancing enabled.
