Alex Frost's recent work has been an exploration of adult sophistication through sculptures and drawings that play on tasteful, high minded or mature aesthetics. This contemporary world of good manners, restrained taste and self-reflection is paired with the handmade or home-spun nature of his work which uses oven-baked polymer clay sculptures, smashed tile mosaics and brass rubbings.
