Michael Shaw’s pneumatic interventions will excite renewed interest in Bethesda Chapel. One of Shaw’s large-scale structures is a transparent skeletal object on the verge of invisibility. The exciting juxtaposition of this work with the interior of Bethesda promises to breathe life into a celebrated building that has already undergone architectural intensive care.
