Conjunction 2010 is a Contemporary Arts Biennial in Stoke-on-Trent. This year’s festival will be based on responses to the theme of Escape. In 2008 the first Conjunction biennial was held at various venues in Stoke-on-Trent City Centre, and had a wide variety od works from artists including Alex Frost, Jonathan Callan, Gayle Chong Kwan, Michael Coombs, Rinat Kotler and Rich White. The key partners in Conjunction are Staffordshire University, The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Wren Park, and AirSpace Gallery. The project is supported by these institutions and the Arts Council England through the National Lottery, and Newcastle-Under-Lyme Borough Council through the New Generation Space Project.
