New spaces seem to be popping up all over the city at the moment. The latest is The Exchange, based in the former BBC Radio studios on Cheapside in the city centre. The space is the brain child of Gemma Thomas who for the last 6 months has been running the SHOP project space in Stoke Town centre.
For the last week of this year’s conjunction biennial, The Exchange will become the venue for an event by Adam James and other artists as part of a closing Live Art event for the 2010 programme of exhibitions and events. The space will then run for a further six months with an exciting programme of events and activities.
The Live art event will take place on the 27 November, across multiple venues.
